Hotel Summary

Sol Timor Apartments are located right on the Carihuela beachfront, in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol.

The Paseo Maritimo gives you direct access to the popular beach and it’s many chiringuitos (beach restaurants) that specialise in “fried fish”.

Torremolinos is a busy town with many bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops, all within walking distance of the hotel.

The apartments and studios all offer a fully equipped kitchen with two electric hobs, fridge, microwave and toaster.

Other facilities for you to enjoy during your stay include an outdoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, Internet corner, Free WiFi, supermarket, buffet restaurant, beach bar, pool bar and lounge bar.

The popular towns of Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Marbella are a short drive away and offer a wide range of things to see and do along with magnificent beaches and great golf courses to play.

Golf Courses

Lauro Golf

Lauro Golf is a great course and one of the most favoured golf courses in Malaga.

Surrounded by nature and with 14 lakes, it’s not unusual to see an array of wildlife such as rabbits, partridges, herons, ducks, turtles, frogs, fish and even eagles on and around the golf course.

The 27 hole course can be played in three different combinations, all of which are PAR 72.

The Andalusian Cortijo style Lauro golf clubhouse has great facilities including a restaurant, pro shop, changing and locker room and a lovely terrace for you to enjoy a beer or two when you have finished your round.

Miraflores Golf

Miraflores golf course has been a favourite here since the early 90’s and offers very good value to golfers all year round. I find it to be one of the nicest for views too!

They have a superb driving range with a two-tiered practice area both of which are undercover. This is a must if you want to practice when the sun is beating down overhead.

The golf academy also has its own bar and pro shop which are separate to the club.

There is a wonderful clubhouse with an excellent well-stocked restaurant that offers a range of quality live entertainment 4 nights of the week.

Downstairs you will find the terrace bar. It’s a great place for a cool drink after your round of golf.
