Course Summary
The Flamingos golf is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the coast between Marbella and Estepona and is in the ideal location to discover everything the Costa del Sol has to offer.
The course offers 18 holes of golf, which have been beautifully designed and crafted by course architect, Antonio Garcia Garrido. While playing the course, players are treated to some of the most spectacular views to the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar and Africa beyond.
The Villa Padierna hotel became famous almost overnight back in 2010 when it was visited by the wife of U.S president, Michelle Obama and her youngest daughter for their summer vacation.

Course Details
The stream “Arroyo del Taraje“, passes through the course and flows into a lake which creates a natural border for the course at tees 1 and 10.
The course is not only stunningly presented, but also provides a formidable challenge to golfers of all abilities.
The most demanding golfer will find themselves playing among the local flora and fauna including cypresses, orange, olive and pine trees, carob, chestnut and pomegranates.
Since opening back in 2001, the Flamingos course has played host to a number of major championships including the Spanish Women’s Open Championship in 2010 and the European Seniors Championship in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
