Golf Courses
Azata Golf
Located in Estepona, the new 18 hole, Par 71 Azata Golf course, has amazing views of the Sierra Bermeja (mountains) and the Mediterranean sea.
The Azata golf course was designed by Sterling and Martin and was built by GTM. It isn’t a long course and the fairways are well defined and wide undulating greens. It’s shaping is smooth and fun, making it an idyllic, tranquil place to play golf.
Cabopino Golf
Cabopino Golf course is located just a stone’s throw from the popular Cabopino Marina, which sits between Marbella and Mijas Costa.
The course is definitely one that shouldn’t be missed. Designed by designer Juan Ligues Creus, the course is integrated into nature and has stunning views of the Mediterranean sea and the surrounding pine forests.
The course measures 5,170 meters and is a Par 71. It has six lakes and some fantastic holes that will challenge you, including the spectacular 3rd hole (Par 4). In total there are three Par 3’s, two Par 5’s and the remaining Par 4’s.
Atalaya New
Atalaya New Course is seen as one of the most natural courses on the coast.
Created in 1990 by Paul Kings, the New Course is set slightly inland but still offers great views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar.
It had a parkland feel about it, with gently undulating fairways and large fast greens. Hazards are in general obvious, but they still manage to catch out the unwary. When teeing off care is needed as the wild hitters will soon encounter difficulties.
