Course Summary

In a strategic location in the Doña Julia Golf Resort, this golf course is perfectly integrated into its natural surroundings and offers magnificent views over the Mediterranean Sea. It was designed by the renowned architect, Antonio Garcia Garrido. One of the outstanding features of this course are its extensive greens.

Two varied rounds are possible, suitable for all player types. Respect for the environment, the quality of the materials used in its construction and the incredible views of the sea and the mountains, make the Doña Julia golf course a really spectacular stage on which to enjoy the game of golf.

Course Details

1st Par 4

Hole slightly uphill, well protected by a vast number of trees. First shot to fairway is protected by a bunker far right. Convenient to stay a little to the left to allow for easier shot in to the green being careful not to be to far right so you’re not penalized.

2nd Par 4

Hole uphill and with uneven fairway. Well protected drive area as well as green protected by a series of bunkers. Elongated green that slopes toward the player making the shot to the green very important in finding a good position for an easy putt.

3rd Par 3

Raised tee area that gives this hole some spectacular views, giving us a partial of the first nine holes that gives an ideal view of the green. Accentuated uneven green well protected by bunkers.

4th Par 4

Large dogleg left requiring a strategic tee shot to find the fairway and avoid bunkers and trees on both sides of the fairway. Shot into green is normally a short iron green slopes towards the player.

5th Par 5

Narrow tee shot that requires a straight and sate drive. Second shot must he aimed out to the right of a fairway that slopes to a water hazard on the left. Third shot to a raised green looking for two putts.

6th Par 4

Narrow fairway to be driven straight at the tree in the middle. Green that slopes toward the player well protected by bunkers.

7th Par 4

Hole uphill and protected by trees on both sides.
Short second shot to large deep green.

8th Par 5

Hole of great beauty and distance. Downhill drive with views of the sea in the background. Second shot played to the left protecting the slope to the right and permitting an easy shoe into a small well protected green.

9th Par 4

Raised tee with water hazard all down left hand side and out of bounds on the right. Narrow fairway important to hit to assure a good second into an elongated two tier green.

10th Par 4

Hole with two big tee platforms and with a large water hazard from tee to green. Drives should be aimed down the left hand side of the fairway taking as reference the base of the tree on that side. Second shot into a green that slopes towards the water hazard on the right.

11th Par 3

Raised two tier green, well defined with bunkers and out of hounds Ion the left.

12th Par 3

Long par 3 defended by big bunkers round a large flat green with various pin positions.

13th Par 3

Hole uphill with raised green.
Undulated green with various inclinations.
The shot to the green will be with a long iron or wood looking for an easy putt.

14th Par 5

Drive uphill with Wide fairway.
Second shot downhill, staying to the right of the fairway to have a better position for the third shot taking into account the water hazard on the right.
Large raised green with strong inclines.

15th Par 4

Uphill hole with lateral water at tee level.
Drive is to he aimed to left side to eliminate bunker on the right.
Short second shot into the green protected by bunkers long and left.

16th Par 4

Downhill hole characterized by the wideness of the fairway and the protection with obstacles on both sides. First shot must assure fairway hitting a iron of the tee and missing the fairway bunker. On the second shot we must calculate the distance well as to not have your putt affected by the two tier green.

17th Par 5

Dogleg left. The drive will be aimed down the left hand side on the fairway, to avoid lateral water on the right. Large green with a bunker on the left hand side, water on the right and behind.

18th Par 3

Magnificent and spectacular par 3 surrounded by water on both sides of the green and entrance.
First shot to pin with long iron or wood.
Saving par on this two tier green will be a challenge for any player.
