Designed by Javier Arana, the Aloha Marbella is regarded as one of the most outstanding courses in the Costa del Sol and possibly the whole of Spain. Located in the ‘golf valley’ of Nueva Andalucia, the course has hosted the Andalusia Open and the PGA tour three times in recent years.
The course offers a total 6,882 yards of undulating fairways which wind their way through an assortment of strategically placed local trees and shrubs which provide you with a visual array of colour throughout the year. One thing you will notice is the spectacular views of La Concha mountain and the views to the Mediterranean Sea.
The Aloha Marbella has exceptional practice facilities including a 40 position grass lie driving range measuring a total of 300 metres. There is also a sheltered practice area, putting green, chipping area and a number of bunkers with greens to practice your bunker shots. There is also a private par three course and professional golfers on hand to provide private and group tuition.
The course offers a good mix of holes with 4 par 5’s, 10 par 4’s and 4 par 3’s. The par 3’s are said to be especially difficult and are featured as some of the toughest holes in all of the PGA tour events!
When you have finished your round, head for the exclusive bar and restaurant within the grand club house or treat yourself at the Pro Shop.
If you are playing this great course, why not leave the golf clubs at home and hire a top quality set from Golf Breaks in Spain from just €15 euros per set? For convenience, we can even deliver your clubs directly to your apartment, hotel or Malaga Airport.
